Who
we are
The Undergraduate Theatre Association (UTA) is the official
representative voice of the undergraduate Theatre & Drama students
at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. UTA also serves to provide
additional production and performance opportunities for all undergraduates
with a passion for theatre.
UTA is a registered student organization
with the UW-Madison Student
Organization Office and is sponsored by the UW-Madison Department
of Theatre & Drama.
Membership is NOT limited to theatre
majors. All registered UW-Madison undergrads with a passion for theatre
are invited to join. Simply add yourself to our email list to find
out about upcoming meetings and events.
Our
mission
Our mission is to improve relationships and communication between
all theatre-related individuals, and to provide undergraduate students
with more opportunities in ALL theatrical fields (acting, directing,
tech, etc.) by increasing awareness of interest through collaboration
within the undergraduate student body.
