SYNOPSIS
Tantrum(s) is an existential romp through immaturity as a young woman has to question everything she's ever believed of life and love. Our heroine, Iris, is almost certain she is in love, but if her friends are correct, and they almost always are, then she most certainly is not in love. In fact, she may be denying the strongest feelings she's ever had. But, how can she really know--you know---really, really, really, REALLY know--when those nearest and dearest turn every little thing into a tantrum? This play pleads for an answer: Is love the key to a happy ending? Does human neurosis serve any higher function in our relationships, or is it simply a hindrance? Do you need anybody?--Does anybody need you? Are we capable of changing for those we love?

It's an anti-romantic comedy that could restore your faith in the ideals of passion or destroy your sense of romance altogether, all in the span of two-acts... a mere tantrum in time. But, like any tantrum, you are the only real judge of reality and the romance of it. Who knows. By the time we're done with the reading, you might be ready to (start) throw(ing) a/(some) tantrum(s) of your own. (!)
